# Cat Mode

> Blocks your keyboard so the cat can't.

A Chrome extension that blocks keyboard and trackpad input on the current page, so a cat on the desk can't type, close tabs, or buy anything.

## Facts

## What it does

- **One click, cat-proof** — Blocks keyboard and trackpad input on the current page.
- **The video keeps playing** — Lock the input, not the movie. Built for cats who sit on spacebars.
- **Panic unlock** — A chord (Ctrl+Shift+K) you can type even when everything else is blocked.
- **Auto-disable timer** — A safety net so you're never stuck locked.
- **The Paw Report** — A little tally of everything the cat tried to type.
- **Settings that follow you** — Preferences sync via your Chrome account to every machine.

## Why it is like this

One switch that makes a web page ignore the keyboard and trackpad, so a cat on the desk cannot pause the video.
